THE GARDEN: A hidden paradise in Bulacan

Hello there!

I know, I know. It's been a while since I posted an entry to this almost non-existent blog but I just couldn't help but share this place we went to yesterday. Last Saturday (November 10), my husband and I celebrated our 12th "JOWAnniversary" and decided to go to The Garden in Ciudad de Victoria the next day. The place is just beside the Philippine Arena which is the world's biggest multipurpose indoor arena in the world!

Ciudad de Victoria is located along NLEX between Marilao and Bocaue Exit. If you have a car, just key in the place in Waze. I'm not just sure how to get there if you will take public transpo. (BTW, parking is FREE! Woot woot! 😉)

Sharing with you some of our pictures below. 😉

Meanwhile, here are some of the animals you can see inside. I can say that they are well taken cared of. The bird cages have curtains. The animals at the mini zoo have electric fans and enjoy the "spa"-ish music. Another plus point is hindi mabaho sa zoo! Yay!

PS. I wasn't able to take a picture of all the animals inside. Pardon the noob photographer in me!😂

We're a bit sad that the lion was sleeping when we went. Pero sino ba namang hindi sasarap ang tulog? May calming music na may malaking electric fan pa!

Then, I saw these... They're so pretty I wanna take them home! 💓

Have you been to Gardens by the Bay in Singapore? Well, they have a mini version of it! Air-conditioned flower dome with a lot of colorful flowers!

Keon Approved!

Then, here's how the place looks like at night.

FAQs:

1. How much is the entrance fee?
- Entrance fee is Php 400 for 6 years old and above and Php 200 for 6 years below. I know it might sound pricey but I tell you that it's super worth it! I was having second thoughts as well when I found out the entrance fee but before we go home, my husband and I agreed that the price is just right.

2. Are we allowed to bring cameras inside?
-Unfortunately, bringing of DSLR cameras are not allowed. I'm not sure if they allow compact digital cameras though.

3. Can we bring food inside?
- Bringing of food and drinks are not allowed as well but they have a restaurant inside. The food prices are reasonable. We ordered pansit canton for Php 310 which is already good for 3-4 persons. I appreciate that the restaurant inside has deaf staff. I'm amazed as they are very efficient in spite of their condition.

4. When is the best time to go?
- I suggest you go there during non-peak season. We almost had the place on our own so we're able to take good pictures without "photobombers". It's also nice to visit the place in the afternoon so you can appreciate the beauty of the place during the day and night.

5. I'm not an INC member. Am I allowed to go there?
- OF COURSE! The Garden is not a religious place so everyone is very welcome!

I hope you can visit The Garden with your family some time. I promise it's definitely worth it! 👌

Ciao!
